Q: At what age do you start teaching children?
A: We start children at the age of four years old. We have a class for four- and five-year-old's. It's called "Little Dragons".

Low confidence, lacking self-discipline & poor focus skills make life a challenge!
I've had the privilege of working with thousands of children, Hi I'm Ron Joslin and I am passionate about changing the futures of your children.
Low confidence, a lack of Self-discipline & poor Focus are often what I am faced with as an instructor.
The kids hear a lot of negative feedback and its tough on parents and teachers to stay positive when they have to tell the kids over again and again the same things.

For many kids, low confidence manifests in a hesitancy to try new things, expectation of failure, and a reluctance to speak up. The lack of self-discipline often results in a disorganized approach to tasks & difficulty following through with commitments.
Poor focus makes it hard for children to concentrate in school, and trouble with retaining information.
Socially, kids may` struggle to make friends or participate in group activities due to their self-doubt and fear of being judged.

Fortunately, enrolling your child here offers a unique environment that fosters growth in confidence, self-discipline, and focus.
Through structured training, children learn to set and achieve goals, gradually building their confidence as they master new skills. We reward self-discipline, and through repetition, it becomes a habit. Moreover, karate requires focus, enhancing their ability to stay attentive. This newfound focus will extend to all areas of their life, like school.

You won’t regret it.
If you don’t see your question let us know, we are here to help.
Absolutely! For the Little Dragons and Mighty Tigers, we require a family member to be present. In all other classes, we strongly encourage family involvement.
We realize how tempted you may be when you see your child not paying attention or wanting to correct them, but they need to focus on the instructors. Please refrain from talking to your kids, but cheer them on, or clapping is great.
Some children need a heads-up notice that it's getting close to time to go. Use the 15-minute countdown. Remind them every 5 minutes. “We get to go to karate today. We leave in 10 minutes”.
